- 1 pound fresh lump crab meat
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Olive oil or cooking spray, for baking
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, chopped green onions, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth.
- Gently fold in the lump crab meat.
- Form the mixture into small balls and roll them in breadcrumbs until coated.
- Place the crab bombs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Spray or drizzle with olive oil.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Serve warm as an appetizer.
Notes
For best results, use fresh crab meat and ensure the cream cheese is softened. You can also freeze the crab bombs before baking.
