Description

Baked Crab Bombs are delicious bite-sized appetizers made with fresh crab meat and a creamy filling, wrapped in a crispy coating. Perfect for gatherings!


Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh lump crab meat
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Olive oil or cooking spray, for baking

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, chopped green onions, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth.
  3. Gently fold in the lump crab meat.
  4. Form the mixture into small balls and roll them in breadcrumbs until coated.
  5. Place the crab bombs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Spray or drizzle with olive oil.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
  8. Serve warm as an appetizer.

Notes

For best results, use fresh crab meat and ensure the cream cheese is softened. You can also freeze the crab bombs before baking.
