- 4 chicken breasts
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, mix together Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Drizzle olive oil over chicken breasts and then coat each breast with the breadcrumb mixture.
- Place the chicken on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and golden brown.
- Garnish with fresh parsley if desired before serving.
Notes
For extra crunch, switch half of the breadcrumbs for panko breadcrumbs. If you like things spicy, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the breadcrumb mixture. Let the chicken rest for a few minutes after baking to keep it juicy.
