Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 large onions
  • 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 egg
  • Almond flour (optional for coating)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Slice the onions into thick rings.
  3. In a bowl, combine the Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Beat the egg in another bowl.
  5. Dip each onion ring into the egg, then coat with the Parmesan mixture.
  6. Place the coated rings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden and crispy.
  8. Serve hot as a snack, side dish, or appetizer.

Notes

For extra crunch, consider adding a light layer of almond flour before the Parmesan coating. Experiment with different spices for variety.
