- 1 cup fresh blueberries
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix the melted butter, egg, milk, and vanilla until well combined.
- Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Gently fold in the blueberries.
- Scoop the batter into the prepared muffin tin, filling each cup about 2/3 full.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
For the best flavor, use fresh blueberries. If using frozen, do not thaw before mixing.
