- 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups diced apples (about 2 medium apples)
- 1 cup caramel sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup sugar, and melted butter. Press the mix into the bottom of the pan to form the crust.
- In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add 1 cup sugar and vanilla. Mix until combined.
- Add the eggs one at a time. Beat well after each egg.
- Fold in the diced apples and cinnamon. Pour the cheesecake mixture over the crust.
- Drizzle the caramel sauce on top. Swirl the caramel into the filling with a knife.
- Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until the center is set but not cracked.
- Cool completely before slicing into bars. Serve with extra caramel sauce if you like.
Notes
For best flavor, serve chilled or at room temperature. These bars can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator.
