Ingredients:
- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 2 onions, thinly sliced
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp sugar
- ½ cup grated Gruyère cheese
- 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a skillet, melt butter and sauté onions with sugar over low heat for 15–20 minutes until golden and soft.
- Roll puff pastry onto a baking sheet.
- Spread caramelized onions over pastry, top with cheese and thyme.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes until pastry is puffed and golden.
