Description

A warm, filling bowl of comfort blending savory beef, tender potatoes, and melty cheddar in a creamy broth. Perfect for a quick family dinner or a cold night.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 cups diced potatoes
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat a large pot over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned.
  2. Drain excess fat from the pot.
  3. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the pot and cook until soft.
  4. Stir in the diced potatoes and pour in the beef broth. Bring to a boil.
  5. Lower the heat and simmer until the potatoes are tender, about 15–20 minutes.
  6. Stir in the heavy cream and add the shredded cheddar cheese, stirring until it melts.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley and extra cheese if desired.
