Description

Delicious cookies featuring buttery dough, maraschino cherries, and topped with Hershey’s Kisses.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup maraschino cherries, drained and finely chopped
  • Hershey’s Kisses, for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually add the flour and salt, mixing until just combined.
  5. Fold in the chopped maraschino cherries.
  6. Roll the dough into small balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
  8. While the cookies are still warm, press a Hershey’s Kiss into the center of each cookie.
  9. Let cool completely before serving.
