Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking dish with parchment paper.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter for the brownie batter.
- Stir in the granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Sift in the cocoa powder, all-purpose flour, and salt. Mix until the batter is smooth.
- In a separate bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar for the chocolate chip cookie dough.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract to the mixture, beating until light and fluffy.
- Gradually mix in the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt until a soft cookie dough forms.
- Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
- Pour the brownie batter into the lined dish, spreading it evenly.
- Drop spoonfuls of the cookie dough onto the brownie batter.
- Gently press the dough into the brownie batter to create a marbled effect.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes until edges are set and center is slightly gooey.
- Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely in the baking dish.
- Cut into squares or desired shapes and enjoy!
