Description

Delightful brownies topped with chocolate and fresh strawberries, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, melt the butter, then stir in the sugar.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually add this mixture to the butter mixture until well combined.
  6. Fold in the chopped strawberries and half of the chocolate chips.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Let the brownies cool completely before topping.
  10. Melt the remaining chocolate chips with vegetable oil until smooth.
  11. Pour the melted chocolate over the brownies and spread it evenly.
  12. Let the chocolate set, cut the brownies into squares, and serve.

Notes

For an extra flavor boost, add a pinch of espresso powder to the batter. Use fresh strawberries that are not too wet to avoid sogginess.
