Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion (chopped)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 can (15 oz) crushed tomatoes
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 2 cups cooked lasagna noodles (broken)
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese (shredded)
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese (grated)
  • 4 large bread bowls

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  3. Stir in the chicken broth, crushed tomatoes, and Italian seasoning. Bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat and stir in the heavy cream and broken lasagna noodles. Simmer for about 10-15 minutes until the noodles are tender.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. To serve, ladle the soup into each bread bowl and top with mozzarella and parmesan cheese.

Notes
