Description

A delicious and comforting pasta bake combining tender shrimp with creamy sauce and cheese, perfect for family dinners or special occasions.


Ingredients

  • 8 ounces rotini pasta
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the rotini pasta according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes.
  5. Reduce the heat and stir in the heavy cream, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  6. Combine the cooked pasta and shrimp mixture, stirring in half of the Parmesan and mozzarella cheese.
  7. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and top with the remaining cheese.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, until the top is golden and bubbly.
  9. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

For added flavor, include a splash of white wine when cooking the shrimp. Experiment with different pasta types for a different texture.
