A simple, comforting dinner featuring golden, crunchy chicken with a creamy garlic sauce that’s rich and satisfying.
Ingredients

- 4 small to medium chicken breasts (or 2 large, halved)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3–4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup light cream or heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning or oregano
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 cup spinach, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Pat chicken dry. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
- Heat 2 tablespoons olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add chicken to the hot pan. Cook 5–6 minutes per side until golden and crispy.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside on a plate.
- Lower the heat to medium-low. Add minced garlic to the pan and sauté about 30 seconds.
- Pour in the cream and stir continuously to mix.
- Add Italian seasoning and grated Parmesan, stirring until smooth.
- Stir in chopped spinach if using, and simmer 2–3 minutes until wilted.
- Return cooked chicken to the pan, spoon sauce over the top, and simmer for 1 minute to reheat the chicken.
- Remove from heat and serve hot.
Notes
Serve over pasta, alongside mashed potatoes, or with roasted vegetables. Great for meal prep and freezes well.
