Description

A simple, comforting dinner featuring golden, crunchy chicken with a creamy garlic sauce that’s rich and satisfying.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 small to medium chicken breasts (or 2 large, halved)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3–4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup light cream or heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning or oregano
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 cup spinach, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Pat chicken dry. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat 2 tablespoons olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add chicken to the hot pan. Cook 5–6 minutes per side until golden and crispy.
  4. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside on a plate.
  5. Lower the heat to medium-low. Add minced garlic to the pan and sauté about 30 seconds.
  6. Pour in the cream and stir continuously to mix.
  7. Add Italian seasoning and grated Parmesan, stirring until smooth.
  8. Stir in chopped spinach if using, and simmer 2–3 minutes until wilted.
  9. Return cooked chicken to the pan, spoon sauce over the top, and simmer for 1 minute to reheat the chicken.
  10. Remove from heat and serve hot.

Notes

Serve over pasta, alongside mashed potatoes, or with roasted vegetables. Great for meal prep and freezes well.
