- 3 ½ to 4 cups all-purpose flour

- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Dissolve the yeast in warm milk with a teaspoon of sugar and let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
- In a large bowl, combine melted butter, sugar, egg, and salt. Mix well.
- Stir in the yeast mixture. Gradually add flour until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
- Punch down the dough and roll it out into a rectangle.
- Spread softened butter over the dough, mix brown sugar and cinnamon, and sprinkle over the buttered dough.
- Roll up the dough tightly and cut into 12 pieces.
- Place rolls in a greased baking dish. Cover and let them rise for about 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
- Meanwhile, prepare the creamy glaze by whisking together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla.
- Drizzle the glaze over warm cinnamon rolls.
