Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- In another large bowl, cream together the butter, sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time and mix well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients. Mix until combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Scoop dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- If desired, sprinkle with additional chocolate chips or sprinkles.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, until the edges are firm.
- Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
