Description
A delightful twist on grilled cheese and burritos, combining cheesy goodness with hearty fillings in a deliciously casual meal.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 cup cooked white rice
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup nacho cheese sauce
- 1/4 cup chipotle sauce
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella
- 4 large flour tortillas
- Butter or oil for grilling
Instructions
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef. Drain any excess grease, stir in the taco seasoning and 1/4 cup of water. Simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Heat the tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave until flexible.
- Lay a tortilla flat, add a layer of cooked rice, seasoned beef, nacho cheese, chipotle sauce, and sour cream, then top with cheddar and mozzarella.
- In a skillet, sprinkle 2 tablespoons of shredded cheese. Place the burrito seam-side down and cook until cheese melts and forms a crust, about 3-4 minutes per side.
Notes
To achieve the best texture, warm tortillas before assembling to avoid cracking. Don’t overfill the burritos.
