Description

A delicious grilled octopus recipe that enhances the natural flavors with smoky char, perfect for any gathering.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb octopus
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Fresh herbs (parsley or cilantro) for garnish

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the octopus and cook for about 30-40 minutes until tender. Drain and let it cool.
  2. In a bowl, mix olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Once cooled, cut the octopus into manageable pieces and marinate in the olive oil mixture for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  5. Grill the octopus pieces for 3-4 minutes on each side until nicely charred.
  6. Remove from the grill and garnish with fresh herbs. Serve warm.
