Description

Delicious heart-shaped brownies perfect for showing love on special occasions or just to brighten someone’s day.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • Chocolate chips or icing for decoration (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a heart-shaped baking pan.
  2. In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in the sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
  4. Beat in the cocoa, flour, salt, and baking powder.
  5. Spread the batter into the prepared baking pan.
  6. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes; do not overcook.
  7. Let cool before cutting into heart shapes.
  8. Decorate with chocolate chips or icing if desired.

Notes
