Description

A warming, flavorful seafood stew that combines shrimp, mussels, and white fish with fresh vegetables and spices.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 pound mussels, cleaned
  • 1 pound white fish (like cod or haddock), cut into chunks
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped
  • 4 cups seafood broth
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion, bell pepper, and garlic, cooking until softened.
  2. Stir in the paprika and thyme, cooking for an additional minute.
  3. Pour in the seafood broth and diced tomatoes, bringing the mixture to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat to a simmer, then add the shrimp, mussels, and fish. Cook for about 10-15 minutes, or until the seafood is fully cooked and the mussels have opened.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

Serve with crusty bread or over rice. Store leftovers in an airtight container for 2-3 days.
