- 1 cup Granulated Sugar
- 1/2 cup Corn Syrup
- 1 tablespoon Gelatin
- 1/4 cup Water
- 1 tablespoon Butter (optional)
- 1 cup Confectioners’ Sugar
Instructions
- Juice the oranges and remove any seeds.
- In a saucepan, combine the orange juice, granulated sugar, corn syrup, water, and gelatin. Stir until well mixed.
- Heat the mixture gently over medium heat until it boils, stirring constantly to avoid sticking.
- Once it reaches a thick consistency, remove it from heat and add butter, if desired.
- Pour the mixture into a prepared pan and let it cool completely.
- Once cooled, dust with confectioners’ sugar and cut into pieces.
Notes
Use fresh oranges for the best flavor. Stir continuously while cooking to prevent burning.
