- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup M&M’s chocolate candies
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, melt the butter. Stir in the sugars until well combined.
- Add in the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla.
- Gradually mix in the flour, cocoa powder, and salt until just combined.
- Fold in the M&M’s.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Let cool before cutting into squares.
Notes
For the best texture, do not overmix the batter once you add the flour.
