1 tablespoon raw apple cider vinegar
Juice of 1/2 lemon
1/2 teaspoon grated ginger
1 teaspoon raw honey optional
1 cup warm water
Instructions
Combine the liquids:
In a medium-sized glass, pour in the apple cider vinegar and freshly squeezed lemon juice. These two form the acidic base of the drink and help kickstart digestion.- Add the flavor and nutrients:
Grate the fresh ginger (or use ground ginger if preferred) and add it to the glass. Then add the honey. Stir the mixture thoroughly until the honey is completely dissolved and the ginger is evenly distributed. Dilute and enjoy:
Slowly pour in warm (not hot) water to blend all the ingredients. Stir once more and sip gently.
For best results, enjoy this drink on an empty stomach, preferably first thing in the morning.
Notes
Add Mint: Toss in a few fresh mint leaves for a refreshing twist.
Use Lime: Swap the lemon for lime to give it a tropical kick.
Skip Honey: For a sugar-free version, leave out the honey or use stevia.
