Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup orzo pasta
  • 2 chicken sausages, sliced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pan, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add sliced chicken sausage and cook until browned.
  3. Stir in minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Add orzo pasta and stir to combine.
  5. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil.
  6. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for about 10 minutes, or until orzo is tender.
  7. Add steamed broccoli and parmesan cheese.
  8. Stir until combined and cheese is melted.
  9. Season with salt and pepper.
  10. Serve warm.
