Description

A creamy dessert that combines heavy cream with the tangy flavor of passionfruit for a tropical twist.


Ingredients

  • 300ml heavy cream
  • 80g sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla bean paste
  • 55ml passionfruit juice
  • Pinch of salt
  • Black sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine the heavy cream, sugar, and a pinch of salt over medium heat. Stir until the sugar dissolves and the cream starts to simmer.
  2. Remove from heat and add the vanilla bean paste and passionfruit juice. Stir well to combine.
  3. Pour the mixture into serving glasses or bowls.
  4. Let it cool at room temperature for about 30 minutes, then refrigerate for at least 240 minutes or until set.
  5. Before serving, sprinkle with black sesame seeds for garnish.

Notes

To achieve the best texture, avoid boiling the cream and stir gently after removing from heat.
