- ½ cup (120ml) pink champagne or sparkling rosé, room temperature
- 1–2 drops pink gel food coloring (optional)
- 1 cup (230g) unsalted butter, softened (for frosting)
- 3 ½ cups (440g) powdered sugar
- 2–3 tablespoons pink champagne (for frosting)

- Optional: edible pearls, sprinkles, or glitter for decoration
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
- Whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
- In another bowl, beat the softened butter and granulated sugar until fluffy.
- Add the egg whites and vanilla extract to the butter mixture, mixing well.
- Gradually alternate adding the dry ingredients and the pink champagne to the mixture. If desired, add food coloring at this stage.
- Fill each cupcake liner about two-thirds full with the batter.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow the cupcakes to cool completely.
- For the frosting, beat the softened butter until smooth. Gradually add the powdered sugar and mix until fluffy. Add the pink champagne, vanilla extract, and food coloring. Mix until well combined.
- Frost the cooled cupcakes and decorate them as desired.
