- 1 tablespoon chocolate syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 shot espresso or strong coffee
- Whipped cream (for topping)
- Pink food coloring (optional)
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, heat the milk over medium heat until warm.
- Stir in the chocolate syrup and vanilla extract until well combined.
- If desired, add a few drops of pink food coloring and stir.
- Brew a shot of espresso or strong coffee.
- In a cup, pour the chocolate milk mixture, then slowly add the espresso on top.
- Top with whipped cream and additional chocolate syrup if desired.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
The Pink Velvet Macchiato is best enjoyed fresh. Store the milk mixture for up to 2 days and reheat when needed. Avoid keeping whipped cream.
