Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 1/3 cup + 1 tbsp oil
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 1 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease an 8×8 pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together the oil, water, and eggs until just combined. Don’t overmix; it’s okay if some lumps remain.
  4. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly.
  5. Bake in the oven for 30-35 minutes until just set but still soft in the middle.
  6. Let the brownies cool completely in the pan.
  7. Slice into squares.
  8. Create a heart shape by cutting out a paper heart and placing it on top of a brownie square.
  9. Sift powdered sugar over the brownie and carefully remove the heart stencil to reveal the design.
