Scale
- 9 lasagna noodles
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 pound crab meat
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Add shrimp and crab meat, cooking until shrimp is pink and opaque. Season with salt and pepper.
- In a bowl, mix ricotta, half of the mozzarella, and Parmesan cheese. Stir in the heavy cream until well combined.
- Spread a layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish. Layer 3 lasagna noodles over the sauce, then spread half of the ricotta mixture over the noodles, followed by half of the seafood mixture. Repeat the layers, finishing with a layer of noodles and marinara on top.
- Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese on top.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until golden and bubbly.
- Let cool for a few minutes, then garnish with fresh parsley and serve.
Notes
Make sure not to overcook the seafood as it can become tough. Use store-bought marinara or homemade for extra flavor.
