Ingredients

  • Pink gel food coloring
  • Valentine’s Day sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a stand mixer with a paddle attachment, cream the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the egg white and vanilla extract, and mix for about 30 seconds to fully incorporate.
  4. Gradually add the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt, mixing until the flour disappears.
  5. Use a small cookie scooper to portion equally sized dough balls onto the baking sheet.
  6. Bake the cookies for 8 minutes. Let them rest on the baking sheet for 5 to 10 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
  7. For the frosting, cream the softened butter until light and fluffy.
  8. Add the powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and cream. Whip until smooth and fluffy.
  9. Mix in the pink gel food coloring until evenly combined.
  10. Frost each cooled cookie and decorate with Valentine’s Day sprinkles.
