Description

A delicious and easy dinner idea featuring savory chicken cooked in a sweet and tangy sauce, served over rice.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 pound chicken thighs or breasts, cut into pieces
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • Green onions, for garnish
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil to create the sauce.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add the chicken pieces. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Pour the sauce over the chicken and stir to coat. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
