- 1/4 cup brown sugar

- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup homemade strawberry jam or store-bought
- Optional: powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar together until light and fluffy. Mix in the vanilla extract and egg until well combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Gently fold in the cream cheese until you have a soft dough.
- Drop the dough by tablespoons onto the prepared baking sheet, creating small indentations in the center of each cookie.
- Fill each indentation with a small dollop of strawberry jam.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
- Optional: dust with powdered sugar before serving. Enjoy!
