- 1/2 cup powdered sugar, plus extra for dusting
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup chopped fresh strawberries
- 1 package chocolate kisses
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream together the softened butter and 1/2 cup powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
- Mix in the vanilla extract.
- Gently fold in the flour, salt, and chopped strawberries until combined.
- Shape the dough into small balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for about 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Immediately press a chocolate kiss into the center of each cookie as soon as they come out of the oven.
- Allow the cookies to cool slightly, then dust with additional powdered sugar before serving.
