- ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp salt
- 3 Tbsp freeze-dried strawberry powder
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2–3 Tbsp strawberry purée
- 1–2 tsp milk
Instructions
- Preheat the oven and prepare your baking sheets.
- Mix the butter and sugar together until fluffy. Add the egg and vanilla, mixing well.
- Gradually add the flour, baking powder, and salt to the mixture. Stir in the strawberry powder.
- Shape the dough into balls and place them on the baking sheets. Bake until lightly golden.
- After cooling, mix powdered sugar with strawberry purée and milk to create a glaze. Drizzle over the cookies.
Notes
Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week, or freeze for longer storage. Dough can be prepared in advance and refrigerated for up to 2 days before baking.
