- 1 large Onion
- 2 tablespoons Butter (or vegan butter)
- 1 tablespoon Olive Oil (or avocado oil)
- 1 teaspoon Salt (to taste)
- 1 tablespoon Cajun Seasoning
Instructions
- Peel the onion and cut it into quarters.
- In a large pot, heat the butter and olive oil over medium heat.
- Once hot, add the onion quarters to the pot.
- Sprinkle the salt and Cajun seasoning over the onions.
- Cover the pot and cook the onions for about 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally, until tender.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
- Serve hot and enjoy.
