- 1 large Yellow Onion
- 1 teaspoon Kosher Salt
- 1 tablespoon Cajun Seasoning
- 1 tablespoon Old Bay Seasoning
- 1 teaspoon Dried Parsley
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper
- 2 tablespoons Butter (melted)
Instructions
- Peel the onion’s outer layer.
- Cut the onion in half.
- In a pot, mix water, salt, Cajun seasoning, Old Bay seasoning, parsley, garlic powder, and black pepper.
- Add the onion halves to the pot.
- Boil the onion until tender.
- Drizzle melted butter over the cooked onion before serving.
