Description

Elegant and delicious macarons flavored with white chocolate and rose water, perfect for any celebration.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1 3/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 4 large egg whites
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate, melted
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (for buttercream)
  • 1 tablespoon rose water
  • Dried rose petals (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, combine almond flour and powdered sugar, then sift.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat egg whites until foamy, gradually adding granulated sugar until stiff peaks form.
  4. Fold in the almond flour mixture and vanilla extract until smooth.
  5. Pipe small rounds onto the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Let the macarons sit for 30-60 minutes until a skin forms.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes, then cool.
  8. For the buttercream, beat together melted white chocolate, butter, rose water, and powdered sugar until smooth.
  9. Pipe the buttercream onto half of the macaron shells and sandwich them together.
  10. Drizzle with more white chocolate and garnish with dried rose petals.

Notes

Make sure to let the macarons rest before baking to achieve a smooth top and ruffled feet.
