Description

A delicious dish featuring scallops in a creamy, spicy Cajun sauce, perfect for special dinners or a treat at home.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound sea scallops
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Pat the scallops dry with paper towels and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add scallops and sear for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
  5. Pour in heavy cream and stir in Cajun seasoning and paprika. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  6. Return scallops to the skillet and coat with the sauce, cooking for an additional 1-2 minutes.
  7. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

Ensure to dry scallops well for a good sear. Adjust Cajun seasoning for spice preference. Avoid overcrowding the pan when cooking.
